INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoon (30 mililiter) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 mililiter) pork sausage (casing removed)
  • 1/2 cup (125 mililiter) each diced onion, celery, red and green bell peppers
  • 3 tablespoon (45 mililiter) Ragin' Cajun Pop-corn Seasoning
  • 1 can (19 oz/ 540 mililiter) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mililiter) water
  • 1 cup (250 mililiter) basmati rice

Preparation

  • 1 In large skillet, over medium-high heat, add oil, vegetables and sausage. Sauté 2 minutes.
  • 2 Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 3 Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
