  • 1 pound (500 g) ground beef
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) each chopped onion, green and red bell pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) water
  • 1 can (156 ml) tomato paste
  • 1 pkg (37 g) Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix
  • 4 soft flour tortillas (10 inch/25 cm)
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

  • 1 In large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, garlic, onion and bell peppers. Drain off fat.
  • 2 Stir in water, tomato paste and Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix.
  • 3 Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 4 Place 1/4 of mixture into centre of each tortilla.
  • 5 Top with 2 tbsp (30 mL) cheddar cheese. Fold in ends and roll.
  • 6 Broil or grill until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  • 7 Slice in half on the diagonal to serve.
