- 2 pounds (1 kilogram) ground beef
- 4 slices crisply cooke dbacon , chopped
- 1 1/2 cups (375 milliliters) shredded Cheddar cheese , divided
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) plain bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Ground Mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliters) Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliters) Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliters) salt
- 1 cup (250 milliliters) French's® Tomato Ketchup
Preparation
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Mix ground beef, bacon, 1 cup (250 ml) of the cheese, bread crumbs, egg and seasonings in large bowl.
- 2 Shape into a loaf on shallow baking pan. Pour ketchup over top.
- 3 Bake 45 minutes. Sprinkle meat loaf with remaining 1/2 cup (125 ml) cheese; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until meat loaf is cooked through. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
