- 3 pounds (1.5 kilogram) spare ribs
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliter) packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon (45 milliliter) rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoon (45 milliliter) reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon (30 milliliter) hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 milliliter) Ginger, Ground
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliter) Sea Salt Grinder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliter) Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliter) Cayenne Pepper
Preparation
- 1 In a pot, cover the spare ribs with cold water. Bring to a boil, cover, and let simmer for 50 minutes then drain.
- 2 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- 3 Mix all remaining ingredients in a medium bowl to create the sauce.
- 4 Place the spare ribs on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Brush the spare ribs with the prepared sauce.
- 5 Cook for 30 minutes, brushing often with sauce.
