  • 2 1/2 cups (625 milliliter) cake and pastry flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon (12 milliliter) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliter) baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 milliliter) Sea Salt Grinder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliter) Ginger Ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliter) Allspice Ground
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliter) Cinnamon Ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 milliliter) Cloves Ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 milliliter) Coriander Ground
  • 2/3 cup (150 milliliter) butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups (300 milliliter) packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliter) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup (250 milliliter) buttermilk

Preparation

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour 12 cup (3 L) Bundt pan and set aside.
  • 2 In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spice. Set aside.
  • 3 In large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat eggs in one at a time.
  • 4 Stir flour mixture into butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Beat on low speed until batter is smooth.
  • 5 Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before inverting onto serving plate to cool completely. To serve, dust cake with icing sugar.
