  • 2 pounds (2 kg) baby carrots
  • 2 tbsps (28 g) butter melted
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsps (7 ml) Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) Ginger, Ground
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt

Preparation

  • 1 Spray inside of 4-quart (4-L) slow cooker with no stick cooking spray. Add carrots and melted butter; toss to coat. Cover.
  • 2 Cook on HIGH 3 to 4 hours or until tender.
  • 3 Meanwhile, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and salt in small bowl until well blended. Toss cooked carrots with brown sugar mixture in slow cooker just before serving.
