  • 1 cup (250 ml) firmly packed brown sugar, divided
  • 1 (3.6 kg) bone-in butt-end ham, about 8 lbs (3.6 kg)
  • 1 can (398 ml) pineapple chunks in juice, undrained
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Ground Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Cloves, Ground

Preparation

  • 1 Sprinkle 1/4 cup (60 mL) of the brown sugar in bottom of 6-quart (6 L) slow cooker. Place ham, cut-side down, in slow cooker. Pour pineapple chunks with juice around ham.
  • 2 Mix remaining 3/4 cup (175 mL) brown sugar and spices in small bowl. Coat ham with spice mixture. Cover.
  • 3 Cook 6 hours on HIGH. Serve ham with pineapple chunks and juice from slow cooker.
