  • 0.5 pound (250 gram) sliced pork tenderloin
  • 2 cups (500 mililiter) julienne carrots
  • 0.5 pound (250 gram) sliced pork tenderloin
  • 2 cups (500 mililiter) sliced mushroom
  • 2 cans (400 mililiters) bamboo shoots
  • 1 cup (250 mililiter) rice vinegar
  • 4 cups (1000 mililiter) No Salt Added Chicken Cooking Stock
  • 2 cups (500 mililiter) water, divided
  • 1 package (42 gram) slow cookers sweet and sour chicken (club house)
  • 4 tablespoon (60 mililiter) Corn Starch
  • 1 cup (250 mililiter) diced extra firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoon (30 mililiter) hot sauce

Preparation

  • 1 Place meat and vegetables in slow cooker. In large bowl, combine vinegar, stock, 1 ½ cups (375 mL) water and seasoning; add to slow cooker and stir.
  • 2 Cover. Cook 7.5 hours on low or 3.5 hours on high.
  • 3 Mix corn starch with ½ cup (125 mL) reserved water. Add corn starch, tofu and hot sauce to slow cooker. Cook 30 minutes more.
