Recreate a Chinese restaurant favorite with a little help from Organic Kung Pao Seasoning Mix. This garlicky sauce brings a sweet ‘n spicy kick to sliced chicken breast and stir fry veggies. Sauté in one single pan on the stovetop and enjoy over rice.

  • 1 tablespoon (15 mililiters) vegetable oil
  • 1 pound (500 grams) boneless skinless chicken breast or beef , thinly sliced
  • 5 cups (1.25 liters) chopped vegetables such as onion, broccoli and red pepper
  • 1 package (45 grams) Organic Kung Pao Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup (250 mililiters) water
  • 2-3 green onions , chopped

Preparation

  • 1 Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 2 Stir-fry chicken or beef 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 3 Add vegetables and stir-fry 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp and chicken or beef is cooked through.
  • 4 Stir seasoning mix into water and add to skillet. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
  • 5 Garnish with green onions before serving.
  • 6 Test Kitchen Tip:
    • Serve over rice.
