  • Creamy Mustard Vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) French’s Classic Yellow Mustard
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
  • 3 tbsps (45 ml) Liquid Honey Bear
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) sour cream
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Parsley Flakes
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
  • Green Salad
  • 8 cups (2 l) mixed salad greens such as green leaf lettuce or Bibb lettuce
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) cherry tomatoes halved
  • 4 hard-cooked eggs peeled and chopped

Preparation

  • 1 For the Vinaigrette, mix all ingredients in a small bowl with a whisk until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 2 To assemble salad, place 1 cup of mixed greens on each serving plate. Top with carrots, onion, cucumber, tomatoes and eggs. Drizzle with Creamy Mustard Vinaigrette.
