INGREDIENTS
- 10 ounces (280 grams) 4 sirloin steaks
- 2 tablespoons (30 milliliter) Stubb’s Steak Spice Rub
- 2 tablespoons (30 milliliter) olive oil
- bag 4 shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 cup (250 milliliter) red wine, such as merlot
- 3/4 cups (175 milliliter) beef broth
- 2 tablespoons (30 milliliter) Stubb’s Texas Steakhouse Marinade
- 1 tablespoon (14 grams) butter
Preparation
- 1 Preheat grill on medium heat. Rub steaks on all sides with Steak Rub, pressing into meat. Let stand at room temperature while preparing the sauce.
- 2 For the Red Wine Sauce, heat olive oil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Add shallots and sauté, sitrring frequently, until lightly caramelized, about 5 minutes. Add wine, increase temperature to high; cook until reduced by half. Add Texas Steakhouse Marinade, beef broth and butter; reduce heat to low and continue cooking about 10 minutes.
- 3 Meanwhile, grill steaks 5 to 6 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let steaks rest 5 minutes before serving. Serve with Red Wine Sauce.
