  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (250 ml) plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk (3.25%)
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (250 ml) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
  • 1 pkg (15 ml) Harissa
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) bittersweet (60%) chocolate chips

Preparation

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2 In a large bowl, combine egg, yogurt, milk, vanilla extract and oil.
  • 3 In a medium bowl whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and seasoning. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  • 4 Divide batter among 24 paper-lined muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  • 5 Bake for 23 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
