- 1/4 cup (60 milliliter) Smouldering Smoked Applewood Seasoning
- 1 (500 gram) pork loin, cut into 16 - 1 in (2.5 cm) cubes
- 1 white onion, cut into 16 pieces
- 1 yellow pepper, cut into 16 pieces
- 2 red delicious apples, cut into 24 - 1 in (2.5 cm) cubes
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliter) Liquid Honey Beehive
- 8 wooden skewers, presoaked
Preparation
- 1 In a large plastic bag or shallow dish, combine seasoning and pork. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Assemble skewers in the following order: onion, pepper, apple, pork and repeat a second time finishing with an apple piece. Repeat for the remaining 7 skewers.
- 2 On greased grill over medium-high heat, grill skewers, turning once, until the pork reaches an internal temperature of minimum 160°F (71°C) and juices run clear when pork is pierced, 10 to 12 minutes.
- 3 To serve, brush grilled skewers with honey.
