  • 1/2 pound (250 gram) New York Strip steak
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliter) Montreal Steak Spice 30-minute Marinade , divided
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliter) each sliced red pepper and onion
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliter) cream cheese
  • 4 flour tortillas

Preparation

  • 1 Place steak and 1/3 cup (75 mL) marinade in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes
  • 2 Mix the vegetables with remaining 3 tbsp (45 mL) of marinade. Grill on medium-high heat until cooked, approximately 4 minutes.
  • 3 Grill the steak on medium-high heat until temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C). Let cool and slice thinly.
  • 4 Spread cream cheese onto flour tortillas. Add vegetables and steak and roll up into logs.
  • 5 Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until required. To serve, slice tortilla logs on the bias and arrange on a plate.
