  • 1/4 cup (50 milliliter) vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup (50 milliliter) minced garlic
  • 3 lime leaves, torn in half (optional)
  • 1 pound (500 gram) ground chicken or ground turkey
  • 1 pound (500 gram) green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch (2 cm) pieces
  • 3 tablespoons (45 milliliter) sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliter) Roasted Red Chili Paste
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliter) Fish Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliter) water
  • 1 small Thai chile, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Cooked Jasmine Rice

Preparation

  • 1 In large skillet or wok, heat oil on high heat. Add garlic and lime leaves; stir fry 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add chicken; stir fry until lightly browned. Add green beans, sugar, chili paste, fish sauce, water and chili; stir fry 5 minutes or until green beans are tender-crisp. Remove lime leaves before serving.
  • 2 Serve with cooked Jasmine Rice.
