    Beefy stew with a zip
I use the Pot Roast seasoning mix when making a beef stew made with less expensive cuts of beef and it really gives the gravy a rich flavour. Take any leftovers and cover them with mashed potatoes or pastry and sprinkle some of the Chili seasoning packet on the top for a meat pie with lots of zip as well.

    Juicy and Flavourful
When cooking chicken breasts, I found that skin on and bone in Chicken breast go on sale quite often. Since cooking chicken with the skin on seems to keep the juices in and keep the chicken moist, yet we all know it's too fatty and has to be removed before eating, I now gently pull the skin up and place my spices between the skin and the meat then gently put the skin back down. This keeps the chicken moist, yet still retains all the flavour of the spices. Cook it slowly in a 325F oven and use your favourite spice mixture - mine is Cajun.
