All You Need

1 pkg (42 g) Club House Slow Cooker Mild BBQ Rib Seasoning
1/3 cup (75 mL) all purpose flour
1/3 cup (75 mL) packed brown sugar
¼ cup (50 mL) white vinegar
¼ cup (50 mL) ketchup
10 fl oz (300 mL) crushed pineapple, undrained
2 tbsp (30 mL) reduced sodium soy sauce
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 lbs (1500 g) pork baby back or side ribs

All You Do

Combine first 8 ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour 1/3 of sauce in a 5-quart (5 L) slow cooker.

Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Arrange half of ribs on top of sauce. Cover with half of remaining sauce. Place remaining ribs on top and pour remaining sauce evenly over ribs. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low or for 4 hours on high.

To serve, transfer ribs to serving platter. Drain any fat off the sauce then pour over ribs.

Tip:

· Use other vinegars such as cider or balsamic for a slightly different flavour.
